Q: How are Asian pears different from European pears?
A: Asian pears are crunchy and sweet. They ripe on trees and can be consumed immediately after picking. Most Asian pears are round shaped, like apples.
Q: Which variety is the best?
A: Our most popular varieties are Kosui, Hosui, and Olympic.
Q: How to store Asian pears?
A: Asian pears can be stored in fridge for 1 - 3 months, depending on the variety. The late ripening varieties, e.g. Olympic, have thick skins and tend to store well in fridge. Do not store the pears airtight in plastic bags. Pears turn brown inside if they cannot "breathe".
Q: When is U-pick open?

Q: Do you sell Asian pear trees?
A: Sorry, we do not sell Asian pear trees.
